Flybox Omnia 22-Pole Wiring Harness Kit (DBMIOMNKITC22)
The Flybox DBMIOMNKITC22 is the standard factory wiring installation kit engineered for the majority of Flybox Omnia series instruments in both 57 mm (2-1/4″) and 80 mm (3-1/8″) panel sizes. Featuring an authentic Molex Micro-Fit 3.0™ positive-locking dual-row 22-pole connector housing and precision crimp sockets, it delivers secure, vibration-proof electrical terminations for aircraft avionics loom builds.
Compatible Flybox Instruments
The DBMIOMNKITC22 is the standard 22-pole connector kit used across the Flybox Omnia family in both 57 mm (2-1/4″) and 80 mm (3-1/8″) diameters:
- Omnia LIFT: Primary power, sensor power rails, OAT probe, and master alarm output.
- Omnia ASI-OAT: Airspeed system power, external OAT input, dimmer sensor, and overspeed alerts.
- Omnia ALTI-VARIO: Altimeter/VSI bus power, light sensor interface, and altitude ceiling warning output.
- Omnia Fuel Computer: Dual fuel flow transducers (Flow 1 & Flow 2), analogue fuel pressure input, and GPS RS232 RX serial port.
- Omnia Fuel P: Dedicated 0.5–4.5 V fuel delivery pressure input, sensor power rails, and warning annunciator output.
- Omnia MAP: Manifold absolute pressure power circuit, light sensor input, and overboost warning line.
- Omnia RPM: Dual-range tachometer inputs (RPM L low-voltage & RPM H high-voltage), power, and overspeed alarm.
- Omnia RPM-MAP: Dual RPM inputs (L & H), rotor speed input, power rails, and master caution line.
- Omnia CHRONO: Dual clock power, OAT temperature probe, and remote stopwatch trigger input.
- Omnia VOLT-AMP: Dual-bus voltage monitoring (Bus 1 & Bus 2), external Hall current shunt input, and electrical alarm output.
Note: The 3-in-1 Omnia Oil P-T-CT utilizes the expanded 24-pole connector kit (DBMIOMNKITC24).
Engineering Quality & Avionics Reliability
Why genuine Molex Micro-Fit hardware is essential for cockpit electrical safety:
Positive Latching Security
Engineered with a robust mechanical snap-latch that locks firmly into the Omnia chassis socket. Eliminates intermittent contact or accidental connector walk-out caused by engine harmonic vibration or rough air.
Low-Resistance Phosphor Bronze
Supplied with high-grade female crimp contacts (Molex P/N 43030-0007). Delivers micro-ohm electrical continuity to protect low-voltage analogue signals, pulse transducers, and RS232 serial telemetry against resistance errors.
Polarised Housing Design
The dual-row receptacle features asymmetric mechanical keying that prevents inverted insertion, ensuring power, ground, and signal lines always mate with their corresponding pins on the instrument rear board.
Tooling Compatibility
Fully compatible with standard avionics crimpers, including the Flybox Professional Crimping Tool (cod. 603000) or genuine Molex ratcheting hand tools (P/N 63819-0000) for consistent, gas-tight wire terminations.
