Genuine Fly Henry Sensor Hardware

Fly Henry Precision Oil & Fuel Pressure Transducers (0–6.9 Bar)

Engineered specifically for Paramotors (PPG), Microlights, Trikes, and Ultralight (ULL) aircraft, these solid-state pressure transmitters deliver real-time monitoring of critical engine lubrication and fuel supply circuits. Calibrated across a 0 to 6.9 Bar (0 to 100 PSI) range, they are available with either a threaded 1/8″ NPT male port for engine blocks or a push-on 5 mm barbed fitting for direct in-line fuel hose installation.

Pressure Span 0 – 6.9 Bar (100 PSI)
Port Styles 1/8″ NPT or 5 mm Barb
Sensing Tech Solid-State Core
Fluid Support Oil, Mogas & AvGas

Choosing Your Port Style

Select the model matched to your engine tap location or fuel line plumbing:

Fitting Option Connection Interface Recommended Applications
1/8″ NPT Thread 1/8″–27 NPT male tapered thread Engine block oil ports, remote manifold blocks, oil filter sandwich plates, rigid fuel rails (Rotax, HKS, Jabiru)
5 mm Hose Barb 5 mm (approx. 3/16″) ridged brass push-on hose barb Direct in-line fuel feed lines, carburettor supply loops, diaphragm pump outputs (Vittorazi, Polini, Minari, Corsair)
Variant 01

1/8″ NPT Thread (Oil / Manifold)

The industry standard for rigid mechanical engine ports. Screws directly into tapped crankcase galleries, remote sensor T-blocks, or fuel distribution blocks. Provides a high-pressure seal that stands up to heavy continuous oil pressures and high crankcase temperatures.

Variant 02

5 mm Hose Barb (In-Line Fuel)

Purpose-built for simple paramotor and microlight fuel systems. Splices directly into standard 5 mm internal diameter fuel line between your fuel pump and carburettor. Eliminates the need to fabricate heavy threaded adapter tees in tight engine cages.

Engineering & Cockpit Protection Benefits

Unlocking the full pressure monitoring capabilities of your Fly Meter:

01

Dual Min/Max Alarm Guard

Compatible with the Fly Meter's dual threshold checks. Set a minimum alarm to catch fuel pump starvation or oil pressure loss, and a maximum alarm to prevent float valve flooding from high fuel pressure.

02

Solid-State Reliability

Contains no moving diaphragms or sliding mechanical contacts that wear out from continuous aeromotor vibration. The piezoresistive sensor provides clean, fast telemetry without needle bounce.

03

Fly Meter Native Compatibility

Pre-mapped to connect straight into the dedicated pressure input of the Fly Henry Fly Meter. Select your preferred units (Bar or PSI) in the instrument menu for immediate, calibrated readouts.

04

Ethanol & Oil Resistant

Built with fuel-safe internal seals designed to withstand continuous contact with modern unleaded Mogas (E5/E10), 100LL aviation fuel, and high-performance synthetic 2-stroke oils.

Technical Specifications

Sensor Operating Range 0 to 6.9 Bar (0 to 100 PSI) continuous
Port Configuration Options 1/8″–27 NPT Male Thread • 5 mm Barbed Push-On Hose Fitting
Operating Voltage 5 V – 12 V DC (powered directly by the Fly Meter or avionics hub)
Supported Liquid Media Engine oil, Mogas (including E5 & E10), AvGas 100LL, 2-stroke petrol/oil pre-mix
Operating Temperature Rating -20°C to +105°C continuous engine bay rating
Instrument Compatibility Fly Henry Fly Meter (all versions) & universal 0–5 V EIS displays
Target Aircraft Paramotors (PPG), Microlights, Trikes, and Ultralight (ULL) aircraft
Installation Tip: For the 1/8″ NPT threaded version, use a fuel- and oil-rated thread sealant paste (avoid PTFE tape, which can shred and enter fuel jets or oil passages). For the 5 mm barbed version, use single-ear Oetiker or fuel-injection hose clamps to ensure an airtight seal. Secure the sensor housing to a frame spar or bracket with a cushioned P-clip to prevent vibration fatigue.
