Flybox Omnia Series Avionics

Flybox Omnia Fuel L-P (57 mm & 80 mm)

The Flybox Omnia Fuel L-P is an integrated fuel management instrument combining precision fuel level indication for up to two tanks with real-time fuel pressure monitoring. Engineered for Ultralight, Light Sport (LSA), and Experimental aircraft, it provides immediate insight into remaining fuel reserves and pump delivery pressure on a sunlight-readable colour graphic display. Available in standard 57 mm (2-1/4″) and 80 mm (3-1/8″) round panel cutouts.

Form Factors 57 mm & 80 mm Standard
Fuel Tanks Up to 2 Tanks Monitored
Supply Voltage 10 V – 30 V DC (~1.5 W)
Sender Support Resistive & Capacitive

Choosing Your Instrument Size

Select the standard round aviation cutout diameter that best suits your cockpit panel:

Variant 01

Omnia Fuel L-P 57 mm (2-1/4″)

The perfect fit for space-constrained panels, centre pedestals, or secondary consoles. Fits into standard 57 mm instrument cutouts while combining dual tank levels and fluid pressure into one clean display face.

Variant 02

Omnia Fuel L-P 80 mm (3-1/8″)

A direct drop-in replacement for traditional 3-1/8″ mechanical aircraft gauges. Delivers an expanded dial diameter, larger numeric readouts, and wider arc graphics for effortless scanning from both seats.

Operational Capabilities & Fuel Safety

Comprehensive fuel system monitoring in a single dedicated flight instrument:

01

Dual-Tank Level Oversight

Monitors up to two independent fuel cells (Left/Right wing tanks or Main/Auxiliary). Features individual low-fuel reserve alert setpoints to notify the pilot well before fuel starvation occurs.

02

Line Pressure Guard

Tracks fuel supply pressure continuously in Bar or PSI. Supports low-pressure carburettor setups as well as high-pressure injection systems, featuring custom low and high alert thresholds.

03

Non-Linear Tank Calibration

Features an integrated multi-point calibration routine that compensates for tapered, sculpted, or irregular fuel tank profiles, guaranteeing linear and reliable fuel readouts across all volume levels.

04

Aural & Visual Annunciation

Equipped with an audio line-out that routes voice and tone warnings directly to your cockpit intercom, accompanied by two programmable NPN outputs to trigger external master warning lamps.

Technical Specifications

Fuel Quantity Channels Up to 2 independent fuel tanks (Units: Litres or US Gallons)
Supported Level Senders Resistive floats (increasing/decreasing resistance) & 0–5 V capacitive probes
Pressure Input Compatibility Low- and high-pressure transducers (Units: Bar or PSI)
Display Characteristics Sunlight-readable graphic colour TFT LCD with adjustable dimming
Aural Warning System Integrated audio line-out for connection to aircraft intercom system
External Alarm Outputs 2x Programmable NPN open-collector outputs (max 500 mA each)
Bus Communication CAN-bus 2.0B interface for Flybox network telemetry integration
Operating Temperature Range -20°C to +70°C (non-condensing humidity)
Installation Advisory: To ensure accurate fuel quantity readouts, complete the step-by-step fuel level calibration procedure in the instrument configuration menu with the aircraft positioned in its standard level flight attitude. When connecting pressure senders, ensure signal ground is securely referenced to the airframe ground bus to avoid voltage offset errors.
