Flybox Omnia RPM-MAP (57 mm & 80 mm)
The Flybox Omnia RPM-MAP is a comprehensive dual powerplant instrument combining a digital tachometer with an internal manifold absolute pressure (MAP) indicator, in-flight chronometer, and multi-tier Hobbs meter. Engineered for Ultralight, Light Sport (LSA), and Experimental aircraft, it displays engine speed and manifold pressure (up to 60 inHg) simultaneously on a sunlight-readable colour graphic screen. Available in standard 57 mm (2-1/4″) and 80 mm (3-1/8″) round panel cutouts.
Choosing Your Instrument Size
Select the standard round aviation cutout diameter suited to your cockpit panel arrangement:
Omnia57 RPM-MAP (57 mm / 2-1/4″)
The compact choice for space-constrained panels, centre pedestals, or secondary consoles. Features a 68.5 mm × 62.0 mm outer bezel, weighing only 140 g with a low 60 mA power draw. Fits standard 57 mm cutouts (57.5 mm recommended) with up to 10 mm internal screw depth.
Omnia80 RPM-MAP (80 mm / 3-1/8″)
The direct drop-in replacement for traditional 3-1/8″ round mechanical engine instruments. Features an 84.0 mm × 84.0 mm square bezel and expanded 3.5″ display area for primary flight scanning. Fits standard 80 mm cutouts (80.5 mm recommended) using M4×6mm screws (maximum 3.5 mm internal screw thread depth).
Operational Capabilities & Engine Management
Consolidated powerplant oversight and maintenance analytics in a single display:
Dual RPM & MAP Arc Display
Presents engine RPM on the left arc and manifold pressure on the right arc simultaneously, with central bold digital readouts and an in-flight chronometer. Each scale features customisable green, yellow, and red operating limit arcs.
Solid-State 60 inHg MAP Core
Internal digital pressure transducer connects directly to the engine manifold via a rear 6 mm brass barb. Eliminates needle flutter, linkage friction, and calibration drift across naturally aspirated, turbocharged, and supercharged engines.
3-Tier Zone Hobbs Meter
Automatically categorises runtime into three separate counters: total hours run in the green zone, yellow caution zone, and red overspeed zone. All Hobbs data can be edited during installation to preserve engine history.
Dual RPM Inputs & Alarms
Equipped with RPM L (2–20 Vpp) and RPM H (5–100 Vpp) inputs supporting 1 to 200 pulses per rev. Triggers visual warning banners and an NPN open-collector alarm output (300 mA) for external lamps or intercom audio tones.
