What this software unlock activates inside your Flybox Vigilus system:
Live Flow & Burned Volume
Displays real-time fuel consumption (L/h or GPH) and calculates total fuel burned since engine startup. Compatible with single transducers or dual-transducer differential installations on fuel-injected engines.
Endurance & Time to Empty
Continuously calculates remaining flight endurance based on current fuel reserves and instantaneous burn rate, updating live as you adjust cruise power settings and mixture.
GPS Range & Reserve at Waypoint
Integrates with your GPS via NMEA serial data to project total nautical range (km or NM) and calculate estimated fuel reserve remaining when approaching your active flight plan waypoint.
Tank Balance & Reserve Alarms
Includes a programmable Balance Alarm alerting you to switch wing tanks after consuming a specific volume, paired with visual, aural, and external annunciator alarms for minimum reserve levels.
Activation Procedure
- Note the Unit ID / Serial Number of your Vigilus instrument (accessible in the Main Menu > About page).
- Provide it to our sales support team.
- You will receive your unique digital license file via email. Copy this file onto a standard USB flash drive.
- Insert the USB drive into your Vigilus front USB port and confirm activation in the system menu. The full Fuel Computer suite unlocks instantly.
