Returns & Warranties

Clear procedures for statutory consumer returns, RMA warranty inspections, and factory replacements.

1. Statutory 14-Day Cancellation Right

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, UK retail customers have the right to cancel their purchase and return items within 14 calendar days of delivery without giving a reason.

To qualify for a full refund, the returned item must be:

  • Uninstalled, unused, and in its complete, original factory packaging.
  • Accompanied by all accessories, wiring connectors, temperature/pressure probes, and paperwork.
  • Free of panel mounting marks, screw head wear, or cut wiring harnesses.

2. Manufacturer Warranty Coverage

As the authorised UK distributor, Albion Aero Services supports full manufacturer warranties across our brand portfolio:

  • Aviolights: 24-Month manufacturer warranty against LED element failure or internal driver defects.
  • Flybox Avionics: 12 to 24-Month factory warranty against electronic sensor and internal hardware defects.
  • Fly Henry: 12-Month warranty on engine monitors and digital readout units.
  • M.A.V. Avionics: 12-Month warranty on digital IFD micro-displays.

Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage resulting from reverse electrical polarity, incorrect alternator regulation, lightning strike, water ingress beyond IP rating, or unapproved airframe modifications.

3. How to Request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation)

Before posting any component back to our Surrey facility, you must obtain an RMA number to ensure your claim is tracked through our workshop:

  1. Send an email to sales@albionaero.co.uk quoting your order number, product part number, and the issue observed.
  2. Our technical desk will review the wiring setup and issue an RMA form if factory bench testing is needed.
  3. Securely package the item with the RMA reference number marked clearly on the packaging.

4. Refund Processing

Once your returned item has been bench-tested and approved by our team, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days. An automated VAT credit confirmation note will be emailed to you immediately upon processing.
