UK Delivery & Freight Policy

1. Domestic UK Delivery Services

All items dispatched from Albion Aero Services Ltd are packaged using professional anti-static protection and heavy-duty, reinforced boxing suitable for high-precision flight instrumentation.

• Standard Tracked Dispatch: 2 to 3 working days via DPD or Royal Mail Tracked 48.
• Express Delivery: 1 to 2 working days via DPD Next Day or Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed.
• Signature Requirements: High-value EFIS screens, EMS computers, and strobe power supplies always require an adult signature upon delivery.

2. Dispatch Times & Lead Schedules

In-Stock Items: Orders placed before 1:00 PM GMT on standard business days (Monday through Friday) are generally packed and dispatched on the same day.

Backordered Items: If an item is on backorder, placing your order reserves your position in our next incoming manufacturer shipment. We will send you tracking updates as soon as the stock arrives at our Surrey dispatch facility.

3. Oversized Airframe & Kit Freight

Larger assemblies—such as Hummel Ultracruiser full-span spars, pre-bent fuselage skins, and spring landing gear legs—are dispatched via specialist UK pallet and freight couriers. Freight charges for heavy crates are calculated prior to final dispatch, and kerbside delivery appointments will be confirmed with the builder.

4. Damaged Goods in Transit

All courier shipments are fully insured against loss or damage. In the unlikely event that a parcel arrives with external damage, please sign for it as "damaged" and report it to sales@albionaero.co.uk within 48 hours with photographs of the packaging and contents.
