Shipping & Delivery

  1. Goods will be dispatched within 30 working days and any estimated dispatch date is an estimate, which can change without notice. Dispatch may be delayed in accordance with point 9.
  2. We will deliver goods via Royal mail and other couriers within 15 working days of dispatch. Postage options will vary depending on the price of the order. Royal Mail Special Delivery is the preferred option due to the insurance protection. Deliveries may be delayed in accordance with point 9.
  3. Your order may arrive in more than one delivery.
  4. Disposal of packing materials is your responsibility.
  5. If there is no one to accept the order on the scheduled delivery date the goods may be returned to the factory and we reserve the right to charge you an additional re-delivery charge.
  6. If you change the delivery address once the goods have been dispatched to you, we reserve the right to pass on any extra charges made by our carriers for redirecting your delivery, if the carriers are able to make the change. This will delay your delivery.
  7. Please check the goods on delivery – any goods found to be missing or damaged should be notified to the delivery driver at the time of delivery or ourselves within two working days of delivery of the items.
  8. If the goods are lost or damaged please report this to us within two working days from the delivery day.
  9. Sometimes, for reasons beyond our control we may be prevented from delivering your goods as planned. These might include things such as accidents, breakdowns, fire, flood, storm, severe weather, acts of god, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage or the default of our suppliers. We are not responsible where this causes a delay or failure in delivering your goods.
  10. Free delivery is available on orders where the goods are stated or promoted with free delivery.
  11. For international orders (outside the UK), we are not liable for any import duty/ tax that is required to be paid to release shipments from customs. Customers are required to pay any fees due on shipments on arrival into the destination country.

UK Royal Mail/Parcel Force Strike Action Days – On strike days, any orders where Royal Mail/Parcel Forces delivery services are selected will be held and then despatched as soon as the strike action is over. Alternatively, if your order is urgent, please select FEDEX NEXT DAY from the delivery options (if applicable). FedEx staff are not involved in the industrial action.  

Exchanges & Returns

  1. You can cancel your contract at any time up to 10 days before the day of delivery. To do this, please e-mail, or write to us. We are unable to accept cancellations by phone.
  2. You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.
  3. If you cancel, but receive the goods, you must return the goods within 7 days of cancellation, complete with the original packaging to us and/or our supplier (or any other UK address specified by us), at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage.
  4. If upon receiving your order you find you no longer require the items, then you have 14 days to return any items you do not want. Once the item is received your refund will be processed. Please refer to shipping & delivery points 5 and 6.
  5. If you fail to return the goods you will not receive any refund.
  6. We will refund all money paid to us by you excluding any postage / carriage within 30 days, less any costs due under this contract.
  7. We are not liable for any duty/ tax that is required to be paid to return items back to us.
  8. We will not be held liable for fitters fees or any other professional trades persons fees due to late, damaged or lost deliveries.
  9. We are not liable for any loss earnings due to late, incorrect or lost deliveries.
  10. We reserve the right to refuse replacements on any damaged items reported to us outside of two working days. Please refer to shipping & delivery points: 8 and 9.

This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights – for example, if goods are faulty or mis-described.7

Flying Eyes Warranty Statement

If this warranted product fails due to a material or manufacturing defect we will repair or replace the product at our option. This warranty covers only defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover accidents, product abuse, alteration, negligence, and misuse; repair due to such circumstances will be performed at a reasonable charge. To obtain warranty service, the original owner must send the product prepaid-freight with a carrier requiring a signature.

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, except implied consumer warranties required by law. In no event shall Summer Hawk Optics, Inc. be liable for consequential damage or loss of use. 

During the first 90 days of ownership, if you damage your Flying Eyes non-prescription lenses, we will replace them at no charge. If you damage your non-prescription lenses outside of the lens warranty, you can order replacement lenses for a fee. The lenses are easily user-replaceable.

We will extend your accidental lens replacement guarantee and cover accidents and mishaps for your frames for ONE YEAR if you register your product on the Flying Eyes website found here within 30 days of purchase.
