IFD-NET EVO 80mm Instruments

Overview

Improving on the previous 80mm IFD-NET instruments, the EVO range comes with a larger visual display screen thanks to the reduced outer bezel size. With the larger screen, the quality and brightness has also improved.

With the PLUS version, you can select additional pages to be displayed such as an ASI, VSI, Altimeter or compass.

A synthetic terrain display is also available on the PLUS version.

Design

Keeping with the same ethos of being able to swap out old, steam gauges for modern digital instruments, all EVO instruments are designed to install straight into any 80mm diameter instrument hole.

On the back of the instrument you will find ports for your aircraft pitot and static system to connect as well as the power connector to provide power to the instrument.

Engine Monitor System

The EVO EMS is the newest addition to the EVO range. Utilising the same display as the EFIS instruments, you can guarantee that you will be able to read the instrument throughout your flights, even in direct sunlight.

Available in either 6 or 12 sensor input instrument, the EMS is compatible with most sensor and thermocouples found on the market.

You can custom set the individual perimeters depending on your engine type as well as setting visual alerts to highlight any issues that may be occurring with your engine during flight such as low oil pressure or a high temperature.

Backup Battery

The backup battery system is designed to keep your instruments running after a failure of your aircraft main power system. It uses a separate, small lead battery that is independently wired into the backup battery system.

The backup unit will automatically switch to the backup battery without any delay so your IFD instruments will continue to run and not power down.

The system will keep 6 IFD 80mm instruments powered for approximately 1 hour.
