NEW FUNCTIONS FOR 2024

  • Flight time calculation according to fuel level
  • All timers reset
  • Setting option initial time in total timer
  • Total timer
  • Fuel flow alarm (indicates a fuel leak)

Measurement deviceThe PPG Meter with its compact size was initially designed for paramotors but can be used in Sub 70/ SSDR aircraft.
The PPG Meter can be easily controlled with the 2 membrane buttons placed directly on the front panel. This makes the device endurant against rain and other adverse environmental factors. Another benefit is that you can comfortably use the device even when wearing gloves.

The device is designed in a way where you do not need to route long wires from all of the sensors to your panel. This is because the PPG sensor module and display module is connected via a 130cm wire harness so you can keep the display in front of you but the sensor module can be installed closer to the engine.

You can display 2x engine temperatures, engine RPM, fuel flow and level, engine run time and more.

The device consists of 2 modules:

Sensor module: This is placed close to the engine where all the required sensors connect to it.

Display module: This is placed in front of the pilot. All important information is available during the whole flight.

Data cable with a length of 130 centimetres connects these 2 modules.

*Custom cable lengths are available at a small cost*

The PPG Meter comes in 2 variants:
1) Without battery box for aircraft with an electrical system.
2) With battery box for AAA batteries for aircraft without an electrical system.

The PPG Meter is started automatically with a wake up signal from the RPM sensor of when the engine starts, or by a long press of the ENT button.

FUNCTIONS

– 2x temperature measurement in range 0-1000°C – CHT or EGT. Possibility to view the temperature in degrees of Celsius or Fahrenheit

– Revolution meter

– 4x moto hours

– Fuel gauge – measures level of fuel in the tank – liters or gallons

– Fuel consumption- immediate and average consumption, amount of consumed fuel – liters or gallons

– Measurement of the onboard voltage

– Alarms: overheating, oil and fuel under pressure, fuel level, onboard voltage drop, temperature, RPM, minimum and maximum voltage, voltage of battery, fuel flow

– Maximum temperature, revolutions, and fuel consumption

– Start monitoring system-securing engine start

– Regulation of brightness and contrast of the display

NEW FUNCTIONS FOR 2024

  • Calculation of remaining flight time based on fuel level
  • Reset of all timers
  • Option to set initial time of the main timer
  • Option to lock, reset and set main timer with a 4-digit code
  • Fuel flow alarm (to indicate a fuel leak)
  • RPM alarm
  • Oil and fuel pressure alarm – min. and max limits
  • Oil and water sensor – 2x preset, 1x programmable sensor
  • New oil and fuel pressure sensor – 2 new designs

Measurement device – The Fly meter is designed for aircraft, quadbikes and other vehicles where the engine is far from the dashboard.

The Fly meter comes in two modules, the display module and the sensor module. These are connected via 1 cable harness, so you do not need to route all your sensor cables through your firewall.

The sensor module gets mounted to the engine firewall or close to the engine. All your engine sensors then connect directly to this module. You then route 1 small harness through the firewall into the back of the display module and you are up and running. Power only needs to be supplies to one module, so which ever is closes to the battery.

Being lightweight, easy to install, and compatible with a variety of sensors, the Fly meter is a fantastic instrument for any aircraft.

The device consists of 2 modules:

Sensor module: This is placed close to the engine where all of the required engine sensors connect to it.
Display module: This is placed in front of the pilot’s visual field. A single data cable connects these 2 modules allowing for a clutter free panel both in-front and behind.
