Flybox Backup Battery System for Oblò / Oblò2 (DBMIOBLOBACKUP300)
The Flybox DBMIOBLOBACKUP300 (Oblò Backup System 2.0 / Cod. 810020) is a dedicated uninterruptible power supply (UPS) engineered specifically for the Flybox Oblò and Oblò2 Primary Flight Display (PFD). Utilizing an aviation-safe internal Nickel-Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) battery pack, it eliminates starter-cranking voltage dropouts and provides over 3 hours of continuous emergency flight autonomy (up to 6 hours for a single Oblò) if primary aircraft bus power is lost.

Safer Ni-MH Technology
Constructed using an internal Nickel-Metal Hydride battery pack. Ni-MH cells are inherently safer than lithium chemistries in cockpit environments, eliminating thermal runaway risks and hazardous outgassing.
Over 3 Hours Autonomy
Supplies continuous power for more than 3 hours at maximum rated current (0.45 A) and up to 6 hours when driving a single Flybox Oblò display, ensuring ample time to reach a diversion airfield.
Zero-Drop Cranking Buffer
Buffers against deep bus voltage drops caused by starter motor cranking. Prevents the Oblò from power-cycling during engine startup, preserving your AHRS attitude alignment and gyro calibration.
Smart Status Annunciation
Includes a remote warning LED output that flashes coded diagnostic sequences to notify pilots of battery condition, charge completion, or thermal lockout outside the 0°C to +45°C charging range.
