Flybox Eclipse NG MFD Connector Installation Kit (DBMIECLNGMFDKITC)
The Flybox DBMIECLNGMFDKITC is the dedicated factory connector termination kit tailored for building custom engine harnesses for the Flybox Eclipse NG MFD / IFIS. Designed specifically for installations where the Eclipse NG is used as a dedicated engine monitoring display, this kit provides the complete D-Sub housings, strain-relief backshells, and precision crimp contacts for CON2 (37-pin) and CON3 (25-pin).
Engine Bay & Powerplant Interface Coverage
The DBMIECLNGMFDKITC kit supplies all connector bodies and pins necessary to wire the dedicated engine telemetry ports:
CON2 Engine & Airframe (37-Pin)
Complete 37-pole D-Sub shell and crimp pins for oil pressure, oil temperature, fuel pressure, coolant temperature, dual fuel flow transducers, 3 fuel tank floats, trim position, flaps, and landing gear status lamps.
CON3 Thermal CHT/EGT (25-Pin)
Dedicated 25-pin D-Sub connector housing and high-conductivity crimp pins engineered for low-microvolt thermocouple signals, supporting up to 6× CHT and 6× EGT temperature channels.
Tailored for MFD Systems
Supplies only the engine and thermocouple connector packages. Ideal for multi-screen glass cockpits where CON1 flight data is managed separately, eliminating unneeded parts and reducing build costs.
Positive Latching Backshells
Supplied with heavy-duty backshells featuring internal cable clamp strain relief and knurled jack-screws that thread firmly into the Eclipse NG chassis to prevent loosening under engine vibration.
