Flybox Omnia LIFT (57 mm & 80 mm)
The Flybox Omnia LIFT is an advanced aerodynamic safety instrument combining a predictive stall warning indicator with an intelligent approach and best-glide speed deviation director. Engineered for Ultralight, Light Sport (LSA), and Experimental aircraft, the Omnia LIFT cross-references pitot-static dynamic pressure with internal G-load acceleration and bank angle to alert pilots to impending stalls—even during accelerated, turning flight. Available in standard 57 mm (2-1/4″) and 80 mm (3-1/8″) round panel cutouts.
Choosing Your Instrument Size
Select the standard round aviation cutout diameter tailored to your cockpit space:
Omnia57 LIFT (57 mm / 2-1/4″)
Designed for dense cockpits, glider instrument pods, tandem rear stations, or secondary instrument clusters. Features a 68.5 mm × 62.0 mm outer bezel, weighing only 140 g with a nominal 60 mA current draw. Fits standard 57 mm cutouts (57.5 mm recommended) with up to 10 mm internal screw depth.
Omnia80 LIFT (80 mm / 3-1/8″)
The direct drop-in replacement for traditional 3-1/8″ round mechanical panel instruments. Features an 84.0 mm × 84.0 mm square bezel and expanded 3.5″ display area for high-focus scanning. Fits standard 80 mm cutouts (80.5 mm recommended) using M4×6mm screws (maximum 3.5 mm internal screw depth).
Aerodynamic Safety & Flight Director Features
Advanced aerodynamic margin calculations engineered to prevent loss of control in critical phases of flight:
Accelerated Stall Algorithm
Traditional stall tabs only measure local airflow at level flight. The Omnia LIFT calculates dynamic load factors and bank angles simultaneously, giving early yellow-arc warnings when pulling G in turns at speeds well above standard 1G stall speed.
Progressive Acoustic Alerting
As the central lift pointer enters the yellow caution arc, the alarm output emits pulsed tones that accelerate in cadence as stall margins decrease, turning into an unmistakable continuous tone upon reaching the red critical limit.
Vref Final Approach Director
On the right of the screen, the Vref deviation bar guides the pilot to stable approach speeds. The white bar extends upward if too fast and downward if too slow, vanishing completely when exact reference approach speed is nailed.
VeMax Best Glide Director
A single turn of the rotary encoder toggles the director bar to VeMax (Maximum Aerodynamic Efficiency). In engine-out emergencies, this provides instant pitch direction to lock onto best glide speed and maximize range to the forced-landing field.
